These are a few apps that can help customise the Mac Operating System a bit for a more personal experience, all of these apps work on Snow Leopard and Lion. I have been using Google+ for over a week and I have to say am pleasantly surprised and impressed so far. My first thoughts when I logged in is that it looks a lot like facebook but without the mess, such as the games and third party apps etc with a nice clean layout for posts and comments, and I love the google hangout video calling, but it did take a while to get the hang of circles and. 

Synaptic Package Manager To Be Removed From Ubuntu 11.10

As of Ubuntu 11.10 the Synaptic Package Manager will no longer come preinstalled as standard, instead all installation and removal of software will be done with the Ubuntu Software Centre. The Ubuntu Software Centre will be improved and changed to handle the management of software sources and making it easier to find software and apps, phasing out the need to use synaptic or use the terminal.
